DESIGN COMMUNICATION
The module introduces fundamental skills for the appropriate communication of architectural design. It engages different means of visualization and expression of space and spatial ideas through architectural drawings to prepare students with the skills required in design projects. These skills are taught through a series of freehand and constructed drawing held both outdoors and in the studio. The teaching and learning approach for the module will be lecture and tutorial based, with students engaging with blended learning experience during the lecture and tutorial session. The outline mode of delivery is blended learning approach, proportion of face-to-face and use of Online learning (TIMES). The module assessment will be an individual assignment involving a series of summative assessment.

Project 1
Movie Poster.
Freehand manual drawing on A3 size paper with fusion of man-made and natural elements.
As a summary of this project, I shall conclude as a very well-versed assignment as I could demonstrate the skills I picked up through the previous tutorial exercises.
Expressing my thoughts towards how development in both construction & technology should take account of the impacts made to the natural world, and hence putting a balance between both.
Project 2
Orthographic Drawings.
A set of orthographic drawings of Farnsworth House.
This project set a great challenge for us to asses both our skills in orthographic drawings and also drawing conventions in construction methods and elements.
The study of relationship between each drawings was crucial as we understand a floor plan of the building sets the path of the consecutive drawings such as elevations, section, axonometry, perspectives & etc.
How challenging it may be, I successfully pull it through and made it work under the guidance of both my lecturer and tutor.

Presentation Board and Model Making
Integration with Architecture Design Studio 1
The final project of this module was indeed a an eye-opener for me, as we were required to come out with a scaled model and also a set of orthographic drawing to reflect materiality, spatial arrangements & etc.
Through discussions with my tutor and application of skills delivered through lectures, I was able to wrap up the project with some great work, if I do say so myself !
TAYLOR'S GRADUATE CAPABILITIES
I made sure my consistency and independency was on track as I've set a time schedule to ensure that the ongoing assignments run smoothly and finishes in time.
I sharpen my communicating skills by conveying my messages clearly and point out matters with a proper and polite way.
Delivering my ideas and obstacles I faced to my tutor virtually trained me to apply terminologies precisely.
SELF-REFLECTION
Throughout the 14 weeks of lectures & tutorials carried out fully in virtual means, I'm glad to pronounce that it was indeed a fruitful journey and every effort poured was undoubtfully rewarding in the end.
Online learning-and-teaching environment had evolved from a challenge into a norm since the pandemic hit
2 years ago, hence since then ups and downs were bout chapters on how we accomplish all the projects while still being able to fit into this new mode of studying.

With the excellent platforms implemented by the school such as TIME'S, FACEBOOK, MS TEAMS and etc., we students achieved a seamless interaction with our tutors apart from presenting our ideas and justification to them beyond boundaries.
Under the dedicated guidance of module coordinator Dr. Illia & tutor Ar. Carol Lee, I've picked up a huge load of knowledge and skills especially in ways to communicate my design thoroughly. I believe that all these skillsets would be very useful for my future studies presentation of work and all !
