PROJECT 1. Contextual Study Sketch Journal of a Traditional Street
This project is a sketching-based compilation task where we study on a designated street. Through site visits and data research online, I've came up with a comprehensive analysis based on observations and data of Jalan Tun H.S. Lee and compiled them in a sketch journal with annotations and hand-drawn sketches of the streetscapes and intangible aspects of the street.
SELF REFLECTION
As a reflection for this project, I've learnt to not only observe and analyze by text and long paragraphs, but also to do them in terms of visuals and sketches; droughting down the essence of both tangible and intangible aspects of the case study through ink and paint.

The heritage and beauty of such streets should always be our main target when it comes to conservation and restoration works.
ASSIGNMENT 1. Infographics
This assignment requires us to produce an infographic poster, studying on vernacular and traditional architecture which were discussed during lectures. I chose Traditional Chinese Architecture as my subject of study as it attracted me ever since my first visit to China.
SELF REFLECTION
As a reflection for this assignment, I've picked up in-depth knowledge regarding traditional Chinese architecture, including its unique features and also the wisdom behind especially when it comes to spatial layout and how it responds to nature, FENGSHUI.

It had reminded me once again that ancient wisdom should always be preserved and revised from time to time, making sure we are still aligned to the raw cause of doing architecture.
PROJECT 2. Poster and Seminar-Contemporary Issues in Asian Architecture
As a group of 7, our final project was an extension in-depth study of Jalan Tun H.S. Lee which we carried out briefly in project 1.

An analysis framework was created followed by branching out into research topics that concerned us along the street; where ultimately we propose solutions to resolve the stated issues.
SELF REFLECTION
In this final project, I've enhanced my skills in teamwork moreover how to keep up with the team's progress alongside the heavy workload of other modules.
This project brought us even deeper into Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, understanding more regarding our local context and the issues faced. At the end, we proposed several solutions to resolve some of the challenges regarding the place identity of the street.
