INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING

ASSIGNMENT 1. INTRODUCTION TO TECHNICAL DRAWINGS

PROGRESS

WE WERE GIVEN A 4 WEEKS' WINDOW OF COMPLETION SINCE ANNOUNCMENT OF THE PROJECT BRIEF.

WEEK 1

/ SELECT ITEM OF CHOICE TO IMPLEMENT IN THIS PROJECT

- to be able to fit in an A4 size paper; < (15 x 15 x 15cm)

My item of choice was  the Golden Chrome Plate Sydney Opera House Model. I was amazed both by its architecture and its details in the facade ever since I saw its photos online.

It was rather sad that I never had the chance to visit it physically yet, so might as well draw it out technically at this perfect platform of assignment.

REVIEW

This assignment was indeed a rewarding kickstart for this module. As a student who came up with artistical drawings experiences, drawing technically which required more senses and logic was indeed a challenger for me. Anyhow, with the help of both tutor and peers, I was able to push through and hand in a set of drawing which marked the rubrics accordingly. I picked up lots of skill and polished my accuracy in both lines and hatchings. It occurred to me that every line and dot in technical drawings would be set to deliver one or even more information, as so every component should be drawn accurately with the correct convention.

I received final feedbacks from my tutor few days before submission, ensuring that I've fulfilled every task stated and completed my drawings with in a proper and well manner.
